Master Recordings and Multitracks are terms that can be used to describe a number of formats:

  • Master Recordings may also be known as:
    • Flat Master Recording
    • "Track on the Album"
    • Artist Recording
    • Flat Backing Track
  • Multitracks may also be known as:
    • Stems
    • Full Stem (All the tracks of a song)
    • Multi-tracks (NOT MultiTracks.com, the brand)
    • Accompaniment tracks
    • Customizable Backing Track
    • Individual Track
