Does my CCLI Streaming Plus License™ cover tracks purchased from MultiTracks.com?
Thank you for your question. The CCLI Streaming Plus License™ covers master recordings of the artists/owners for whom we have directly been given authorization, which can be found by checking our Authorized List HERE: https://us.ccli.com/copyright-owners-lists/. Select the Streaming Plus License™ in the dropdown, and you can then filter to the record label or song owner/publisher that owns the master recording.
Where those master recordings are purchased or obtained is clearly at the discretion of the Church.
We can't speak to what Multitracks.com covers and we would advise you to confirm with them what exactly their coverage allows and the specific songs it allows. I do believe that their song coverage is considerably less but, you truly would need to confirm that with them.
Our Strengths:
Value
- Flexibility to purchase only coverage needed for activities, not a bundled product
- If customers are not using a master recording, CCLI would be far less expensive.
- CCLI has multiple partners that allow customers to choose what platforms they want to use, i.e., Worship Tools, ProPresenter, Planning Center and many others
- Automated Reporting is coming very soon!
- Lyrics are FREE with the Church Copyright License®.
- CCLI does not charge for multiple users for SongSelect®, where MultiTracks.com tracks charges for additional users for access to Chart Pro
Vast Repertoire is our greatest value! - Over 300,000 Songs
Our song list and publisher list are robust and have several major publishers such as:
- Capitol
- Fairtrade
- Word/Curb
- Centricity
- Music Services
There are many other places you can obtain master recordings and remain covered by CCLI licensing. Master recordings from Loop Community, Praise Charts, Maranatha and many other owners are all examples that are covered by our Streaming Plus license.
We appreciate you asking the question and hope to have helped at least share what CCLI has to offer you regarding streaming master recordings.
