What does monetized when using social media sites to stream your church services mean?

If you choose to live stream on social media platforms that allow advertising, the song owners can place their ads across or in your live stream. Song owners have that right, as it is their song that you are streaming. It doesn't mean that you must pay them or can't show it. This would not apply if you are streaming on your own church website.
